This map was made by Richard King, our Limnologist. It is part of a "Tier III Survey", in which two samples of the lake
bed were taken from each of fifty locations around the lake. The GPS corordinates of each site were noted and the results plotted
to obtain this map. This survey in its entirety can be sent to you as an Email attachment.

Ed Snizek, our Project Manager from the Adirondack Park Agency, has commended the thoroughness
of this survey, the work done by the Pirates and volunteers in 2007, and the detail of ACT's plans for 2008. These are
exactly what the APA looks for in Lake Management. Ed thinks that Lake Luzerne can be a model for all small lakes in the Park.
Keep
in mind when looking at this map that something happened to cause the Milfoil crash of 2007. Whatever it was, ACT will be doing
everything possible to maintain that crash, and work agressively against the still remaining beds.
